Wanted to take my time writing this so I could really focus on the actual issues. First, believe the reviews that say this company takes forever to ship. I waited 3 weeks for mine to deliver, which wouldn’t have been as much of an issue if the company didn’t create the shipping label almost immediately, getting your hopes up that you will be one of the lucky ones whose item doesn’t take an eternity to come. The long wait time also wouldn’t be a problem if the item itself was worth it. This bear is cheaply made. Mine came with strings sticking out and a hole in it. The stitching is shoddy. If you read other reviews — even the positive ones — you’ll find others who have experienced this as well. They may say it’s worth it, but, personally, I am of the belief that $65 should get you a quality stuffed toy, and definitely not one that requires you to do any DIY stitching. Also, the “softness” this bear purportedly has is a cheap material. It made my arm develop a rash and it’s terribly hot because of chintzy stuffing and/or plush. Lastly, if you google “skoggy.com” and “American,” one of the search results is one of their company site pages with the title, “Why Buy Skoggy.” It claims that their bears are stuffed and assembled in the US. I highly doubt this. Part of the reason this bear takes so long to deliver is because it’s being made in China. You may notice when you track your package that they use a shipping partner called “Fast Track Express.” Google the name and you’ll find plenty of people who talk about how this is actually a company in China, which explains why you’ll find that when you track your package, it will depart and arrive at the same facility multiple times before landing in an international facility. And you’ll find an F rating on BBB, which makes me wonder why as this company does business with them at all. And, to add insult to injury, if you email Skoggy CS because you want to know why your item is taking so long, they tell you they can’t contact the shipping partner. How does that make any sense? The whole operation from the company to the product is at best, third-rate, and at worst, fraudulent. Stay away!

genuinely thought whole heartedly this was a scam, i have adhd and a family member got me a skog last christmas, i’ve been very fixated on it ever since and need it to sleep. I had to wash it a few months ago and it completely melted and got destroyed in the dryer, I started looking on ebay for the real deal since then but no luck. Til i got a sketchy ad on insta, i took a chance and i am so glad. I definitely should’ve ordered a smaller size, i’m 5’2 and he is massive (i got the largest size) he comes right up to my chin. He came exactly three weeks after ordering and he is the love of my my life. I plan on ordering the smaller sizes and the vinterskogs. I’m in love. let this be your sign to order one, i have zero regrets.

Absolutely horrible! I placed my order on 12/8/23 for a 40inch Skoggy and maid outfit. I paid $130, which is very expensive for a bear, a maid outfit and jumpsuit. Nonetheless I ordered it because my daughter really wanted it. It was supposed to ship in 2 weeks, to make it on time for Christmas. I just received the maid outfit on 1/11/24!! And the bear on 2/2/24!!!! Almost 2 months later. I talked with Gabriel several times and was supposed to receive a gadaskog for the inconvenience. After a few emails, Gabriel stopped responding! I had to go to the Skoggy website under “contact” to reopened a ticket to get a response. I talked with Valerie who took forever to follow through. I had to open several tickets to get her to respond back to me as well! She would start off by responding quickly and then I wouldn’t hear from her.

I told her that the website states that if the order is late, the item is free. She told me that only applies after I received the shipping notification. It does not apply to when I placed the order although they told me I would receive it before Christmas! I told her that I received the maid outfit on 1/11/24 and everything was supposed to be in that package. I never received another notification that the bear would be shipped separately: It was supposed to be on the same order. She confirmed it was shipped separately (had the same order #) but they would not give me a refund because they don’t consider the order late. Again I placed the orders on 12/8/23 and received the final item on 2/2/24. If that’s not late, what is it??!

I’d suggest you take your money elsewhere too. This is the worst experience I have had in a while. And considering the price I paid, it is very disappointing. I received the complete order almost 2 months after it was placed! But even worse, you can’t trust a company that won’t even honor their policy! Unbelievable!

(Hand for size comparison.) I LOVE MY SKOG. BEST PURCHASE EVER. CURRENTLY BEGGING MY PARENTS FOR THE JUMBO ONE NOW. Literally no complaints. Like i'm not even exaggerating, the fur is so soft and silky and when I cuddle it at night it stays nice a cold (not uncomfortably cold) like you just flipped over your pillow, and don't even get me started on how squishy this guy is. Like a squish mallow, but WAY softer! I cant stop kissing him! His little face it so cute! So high quality! Perfect amount of stuffing and his neck isn't floppy or anything like that. He makes sleeping so much more comfortable, and he's literally next to me as i'm typing this. 100% need one.
