For the most comfortable fit, it's best to select the smallest size that meets fits your height and weight.
When should I size down? It is never recommended to size down below the height or weight cap. This risks general uncomfort and the tearing of seams during regular use. A person who is 5'10" tall and 185lbs fits within the weight cap for size Medium, but not within the height cap and should choose size Large.
When should I size up? Only if you are within 20lbs of a size's height cap and prefer a much baggier fit, but it is generally not recommended. Our onesies are naturally free-fitting are baggy as designed so long as you fall within the size's height and weight cap. A person who weighs 220lbs may choose to purchase size X-Large instead of size Large if they prefer a much baggier fit, although both will be fine.
What if my height and weight are in different categories? It is best to choose the larger of the two sizes. A person who is 5'4" and 260lbs should choose size X-Large, even if their height falls within size Small's height cap.

The onesie is well made and it is extremely warm. The product was impressive and I'm glad I purchased it, however, the shipping process was awful. I ordered the onesie and the jumbo Skoggy bear at the same time, planning on having them ready for a gift. The bear showed up late but not ridiculously late.....I believe it came within the 5-7 business day range after it took at least a week to actually ship out and begin the shipping process. The onesie was so late, I almost filed a dispute with my bank because I worried I would never get the item at all. It took weeks to begin the shipping process and it definitely took longer than the 5-7 business days to show up.
The bear and the onesie arrived separately (hence the difference in shipping speed/arrival), tightly wrapped in a vacuum sealed plastic package. The bear had to be "fluffed" and it took a day or so for the bear to remotely look like what is advertised. I was disappointed that such little care was put into the package for either item.....I didn't see anything on the Skoggy website mentioning the products come in a vacuum sealed plastic bag/package. If I had known the products would have such lacking packaging, I would have ordered from Vermont Teddy Bears as I usually do, as they always ship everything in a box.
Over-all, I enjoy the purchase, however, I will never order from the company again just because the shipping experience was a big let-down. Now, let me mention the experience I had with customer service via email when I tried to track down my order when I thought it was never going to show up. Customer service wasn't helpful at all, instead of giving my money back like I asked for, they insisted I wait until the onesie showed up and then send it back.....like I would do that when it took so long to even get the order. I would rather keep the onesie I didn't need anymore (because the opportunity to gift it had passed) and have something tangible than try to send it back and have nothing...or have to wait weeks to get the money back. All around, a bad experience.........
I purchased my Skoggy Bear and onesie after being targeted by some unbearably cute ads on Facebook and Instagram.
The only con: Shipping took F O R E V E R- it took nearly a month between when I clicked “purchase” and the arrival of Mr. Skoggs on my doorstep. However, customer service was AMAZING- they reached out to me directly and helped track down my new BFF.
Mr. Skoggs is incredibly soft and cuddly. I opted for the 40” cuddlenaut and I’m so glad I did. He’s been a great pillow/comfort while recovering from COVID due to his large and squishy nature. I also enjoy how we both can wear the onesie for ultimate skogging. All in all, I highly recommend adding a skoggy friend to your family- I’m already considering buying another one!
Absolutely horrible! I placed my order on 12/8/23 for a 40inch Skoggy and maid outfit. I paid $130, which is very expensive for a bear, a maid outfit and jumpsuit. Nonetheless I ordered it because my daughter really wanted it. It was supposed to ship in 2 weeks, to make it on time for Christmas. I just received the maid outfit on 1/11/24!! And the bear on 2/2/24!!!! Almost 2 months later. I talked with Gabriel several times and was supposed to receive a gadaskog for the inconvenience. After a few emails, Gabriel stopped responding! I had to go to the Skoggy website under “contact” to reopened a ticket to get a response. I talked with Valerie who took forever to follow through. I had to open several tickets to get her to respond back to me as well! She would start off by responding quickly and then I wouldn’t hear from her.
I told her that the website states that if the order is late, the item is free. She told me that only applies after I received the shipping notification. It does not apply to when I placed the order although they told me I would receive it before Christmas! I told her that I received the maid outfit on 1/11/24 and everything was supposed to be in that package. I never received another notification that the bear would be shipped separately: It was supposed to be on the same order. She confirmed it was shipped separately (had the same order #) but they would not give me a refund because they don’t consider the order late. Again I placed the orders on 12/8/23 and received the final item on 2/2/24. If that’s not late, what is it??!
I’d suggest you take your money elsewhere too. This is the worst experience I have had in a while. And considering the price I paid, it is very disappointing. I received the complete order almost 2 months after it was placed! But even worse, you can’t trust a company that won’t even honor their policy! Unbelievable!
I bought the brown Skoggy bundle (and waited impatiently for two weeks 😆) and let me tell you how soft the zip up onesie is!!!!! Well, after I got my brown Skoggy, I realized I needed the black Skoggy! So I ordered a black Skoggy bundle! Then after my second Soggy arrived I realized that I needed them ALL! So, I ordered a jumbo Vinterskog and a jumbo panda Skoggy! I also bought a large grodaskog and a sloth Skoggy! The only problem is, my husband is 6'6" and I didn't order extra large onesie bundle! Also, one of my boys (I have three boys and two girls) doesn't have a onesie so they're fighting over two bear onesies 😆💁♀️. It's a mad house over here!
